Annual General Meeting

Everyone is invited to attend our annual general meetings which are held every May long weekend. To vote you must be a member in good standing. A member in good standing is required to pay annual dues of $10 per household.

We will be discussing the estabishment of a community park. There are many aspects to this and you can read more in the files below. One of the things to consider is mining interests. For example:

Allison and Round Lake Park Project

The Allison Borgeson Ratepayers Association has been working over the past five years on developing a vision for a future regional park in the Allison and Borgeson Lake valleys. Read More Here

Why would Allison and Round Lake residents want a community park?

In 2007 Allison and Borgeson Lake residents were faced with the prospect of having a motor-cross track developed at the property just south of Allison Lake Provincial Park. Over 100 residents attended a meeting at the site with the overwhelming majority opposed. After successfully preventing the permit for the motocross track it was suggested we form a Ratepayer’s Association. Citizens wanted to ensure they had a voice in any future development proposals.
